MOST is a year-round USA Swimming club and runs programming for both short course (Fall/Winter) and long course (Spring/Summer) competitive seasons.
Practices officially start the week of September 9th, 2024. A complete schedule breakdown will be posted later in the summer.

Oftentimes the night of your tryout. In the case space becomes limited, you will be contacted no later than Tuesday, August 6th with details on either registration or a waitlist. A waitlist is not preferred but is a possibility.

Quality coaching is the priority of our program, and feedback for every athlete on every set is the goal. Ensuring group and team size allows for that is a priority.

The long course (LCM) season runs April-July and refers to USA Swimming competition in a 50-meter pool.
Generally our 10-U practice through May and have the summers off. An add-on for June-July is available for Academy 2, but we recommend all our swimmers take part in their summer clubs. You can do both teams at the same time - summer club is fun, social, and a great place to show off improved strokes and skills!

Registration is set to open Monday, August 5th for all that have been given a group assignment. Registration will be open until groups/team hit their capacity, whichever comes first.

In addition to reserving your spot on the team, this one-time fee includes Ohio Swimming registration, team website and communication platforms, team shirts, silicone team cap, team suit, team car magnet/sticker, and beginning and end of the year video session.

Academy 1 practices and is billed October through May.
Academy 2 practices and is billed September through May. A summer add-on will be available for this group, with an adjusted schedule in June and July.
Exemplar 1, Exemplar 2, and Senior have a 10-month commitment, practicing from September-July. The last billing month is June. A Senior Pre/Post option may also be available.
There will be a discount per swimmer if you choose to pay in full before September 15.

We may use a second facility during the winter portion of the schedule when the school teams are in. We will also offer short course meters and long course practice opportunities during spring/summer 2025.

Yes, all swimmers will compete during the season. First, racing with the things we’ve worked on in practice is the last step in making those improvements permanent. Meets are fun and social. We are also a competitive swim team, and competing against other teams is exciting and beneficial. Meets will be offered roughly once a month.

We are working on a MOST-run meet in the spring, though not at the high school. We will run unsanctioned (unofficial) intrasquad events during the course of the season.

Specific equipment needs will vary slightly by group, and are detailed on the Practice Group page.
SwimVille will be our vendor and will have a suit fitting and equipment night at the beginning of the season.

Year-round club swimming is a commitment, in time as well as financially.
The commitment for the Academy groups is 8-9 months and Exemplar and above is 10 months. A cancellation policy for not finishing those commitments will be published with the fees in July.

We are hard at work building the best possible staff of instructors, teachers, and motivators. The main goal of the staff will be to provide the most cohesive, productive progression for swimmers as they move through the program.
